Carbon Fiber Hood for a 2019 Mini JCW...A REAL ONE

I know someone hear about 1 year ago in England added a Carbon Fiber Hood and Hear hatch to his 'Newer" Mini. I am racing Nationals in Omaha this year at a Nation Autocross and I need to LOOSE WEIGHT.

Hope fully the guy who added the Carbon Fiber to his New Mini can contact me and help me find out how I can purchase one and get it sent to Texas!!!

Vis Racing has carbon fiber hoods. They dont have the CF hatch. Just for the Gen 1 MINIs. Seibon Carbon used to have items for MINI and they are now NLA.

The Duell AG one we sold out and none in stock, its Fiberglass/Carbon Fiber and it might save a little weight. Weight time is long: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-duell-ag...6cb1.1frp~dag/

Hope you can find a trunk one.

I just ordered one yesterday for approximately $1750 including shipping...they told me it weights about 22 pounds or a bit less. I need to drop another 150#s or so to get close to 2530#s. I will also be removing ALL MY AIRCONDITIONING PARTS...AND...The Top Roof Sliding Windows and Window Motor.

I Started at 2890#s...Dropping 360#s and then figuring want to do with the Actual Engine. I have done things Outside The Engine to get it to 300 HP+ (including a 50mm Turbo) but I probably need to find out what I can do directly to my engine.

Honestly I want UNDER 2500#s and OVER 350 HP

Well my Carbon Fiber Hood is supposed to arrive on Feb 5th...can't wait to check if it is OK. If it is not light enuff, I will find a way to lighten it up some more.

I do have my first Autocross Slicks on...just on my 18x8.5 wheels but that will good enuff for the first part of the year.

I will get a pic once I have it installed...I might paint it the same as the Metal Hood...
