F54 Aftermarket option for VDC?
Aftermarket option for VDC?
Guys, still loving my 2016 F54 S manual after almost 5 years. It has been a fun and reliable partner over 30K miles and I really have not found another car that provides the same experience. Before the mini I was a person who swapped cars every 2-3 years. Since the mini I've had little reason to do so.
The only thing that tends to grate on me is the harshness of the ride on MA roads. I've run Conti DWS06 Plus and although they have improved the ride over the factory runflats a bit, the impact over potholes and ruts can be frustrating after a long day. So I'm wondering if anyone knows of an "upgraded" Active shock/strut option for our VDC system. I do not want to convert to a passive set-up as I am OCD about keeping it as stock as possible. I was thinking that given this is a BMW platform that maybe I could retrofit a higher end part from BMW's parts bin.
