Any 17" fit a JCW hardtop?

I am noticing that nothing at all is in the 17" category for the JCW aftermarket.

I saw that O.Z. had Hyper GT HLT, perfect, 45 offset 17" in gloss black.

But nothing in the USA it seems. And i hear Tirerack is the only distributor in the USA? That sucks. Tirerack really does not carry a bit assortment of crap.

Have you looked at Neuspeed? They make wheels specifically for Mini with the correct center bore, so no need for hub rings.

I am on the fence about using such large changes in offset. i know most do. I just am not tracking it but driving around unknown country roads. It is a shame the OEM's are so damn heavy. Even if they were 20 lbs, which is more than they should be at 17"x7", I would be ok with that. they are like 24 lbs. ugh.

Manufacturers tend to have higher standards for their OEM wheels vs the aftermarket wheels ( I am guessing do to liability issues ). This usually means extra weight.
