Fault 523A solved (MINI with Automatic Transmission
Greetings forum members! We just recently added a 2013 MINI R56 to the vehicle inventory; as I expected, there were some usual MINI R56 problems that we had to address and parts to replace, but I was not familiar with the 523A DTC for the steptronic switch, so I had to review my schematics to see what was going on, and I thought a "how to" video would be helpful. To make this troubleshooting even more fun, Mitchell1 doesn't list what the inputs and outputs are at the TCM or shifter connector in the schematic. Disclaimer, Mitchell1 gets their info from BMW/MINI.
