Okay, We are on the calendar for Friday after the Dragon Parade to drive to Cades Cove.
We will meet at TabCat Bridge and head to the Foothills parkway. We will cross Foothills Parkway, riding it to the end. Then we head toward Townsend on Hwy 321 and on to Cades Cove.
:smile: This is the Cades Cove web page if you have never been and are not sure if you want to go look around here. http://www.cadescove.net/ It is a beautiful place, and I go every chance I get. I tried to get them to let me move in but, that seems to out of the question.
I will check this thread often and post the final list near the end of April.
I will need to limit the number I take to about 25 so sign up now.

My husband and I did this drive on our way to the Dragon last year. It was just lovely and we learned a lot about the area and the history of the settlements there.

I would recommend it for anyone who wants to see the area.

I'm going to wait to sign up until I see the complete calendar of everything that is going on, but perhaps we will do it again this year!

 

What time do you estimate that this drive will begin?

 

As soon as the parade is over when ever that is. We will ride across the Dragon with all the other Mini's then meet up and head to cades cove. But with that many Mini's it may take a while to get across the Dragon, so as far as an ETA, ?????? Also there is no set time for the parade yet, that I know of.
