2007 R52, DSC / P0300 Issues

My apologies, I posted this in the wrong forum section.

Well we purchased our Mini end of last summer with 165,000kms. Over the winter I did some maintenance work on it including the following:

Timing Chain, Chain tensioner, Supercharger Service( Oil, Water-pump, Gaskets) Valve Cover gasket. 17% Super Charger Pulley, Belt Tensioner.

The car ran well for a month. Now that it has warmed up I am getting the above codes. So far changed out the following as they were service items anyway. Spark Plugs, Plug Wires, Spark Coil and just tonight the PCV valve. I have noticed that even with the new PCV valve installed I am still getting enough pressure out of the oil fill cap to inflate a work glove. Is this normal? I am debating taking the car into a local mini shop but want to exhaust all of my options before I do.

thank you,

Not a mechanic so can't help that but must suggest finding an independent German motors mechanic in your area. A dealership will rob you blind.

that's why it's called the Stealership

that said would also research the indy shops well; have gotten burned there too.

on the subject of P0300 here's what Bentley Jr says (MINI Cooper / S Diagnosis without Guesswork)
Amazon Amazon

Seems like you ruled out ignition already with the plugs, wires, and coil; unless colder plugs might be warranted with a 17% pulley [others will weigh in hopefully; I'm running an all stock setup]. Would next check fuel pressure at the rail, change the fuel filter, maybe throw a can of injector cleaner in a fresh tank of premium and see if it helps. Compression test to see what you're working with given the blow by issue. 100 mile Oklahoma tune-up with a chase car if you can swing it to blow out all the carbon and mung. Well-vetted indy shop if nothing above works.

Any codes on the DSC side or just the light?

Yes, one step colder plugs with 15 or greater supercharger pulley.
