I have my daughters 2011 mini R56 that keeps throwing P1056 and P1062 errors. I thought I fixed it after changing both VANOS solenoids and the VVT motor changed oil and filter and it ran fine for several days now its back!! Ugh! Any suggestions? I saw someone else had replaced a position sensor on a clubman but I guess the R56 doesn't have one! So far I hate this car!

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

 

P1056 VVT Control Circuit High (Bank 1)
P1062 VVT Limp Home Request Full Stroke Position Reached (Bank 1)

someone else would have to diagnose those how many miles?

 

about 100k, replaced valve cover gask and didn't look bad onside only light vanish no sludge.

 

It is what might be under the head in the combustion chamber, has that been cleaned?
