Hi,
So with roughly 30K miles on my Clubman, all of the sudden the right rear bumper stop light / alternative blinker (when the rear doors are open) stops working. No blown fuses and the bulbs are good as well. Am I to assume that the lens that the bulbs plug into has gone bad? In other words, continuity between where the power connection to the lens occurs and where the bulbs insert has been lost for some reason? Thanks

 

This happens repeatedly for me. I've found issues between the bulb and the holder, and also between the holder and the housing. I find that giving the terminals a good cleaning and bending the contacts to apply more pressure works for a year or so. But all four of those bulbs will fail eventually.

 

You can buy new part number with new design.

Have not seen the new Valeo housing land, must be the LCI ones, older ones were OLSA of italy. Usually when they supersede the part, they just update it under the old part number. When one comes in i can look. But I think the older ones still have the white housing OLSA manufacture


The euro lights are Valeo newer design
