Just purchased a 2003 mini cooper base 5 speed. Always wanted one from the first time i seen them, and finally got one. Its a fun little car to drive, i plan on trying to do some mods to it soon, but wanna get all the small stuff fixed first on it.
Are you sure it's base? The hood scoop suggests it could be supercharged. Are there twin exhaust tips in the center at the back? If so, it's an S, about 50 more hp and you should have an extra gear!
Looks like a bit of front bumper refreshing is in order too.

sadly, yes its a base, 5 speed manual. I think thr hood was replaced with a S hood, even the vin comes back as a base.
