I just got a 2010 Base Cooper and every time I start it, I get a warning for a burned out light bulb. I checked in the sub menu and the CC-ID is 138, which corresponds to a "Left Fog Light Failure". Simple enough, but this car doesn't have fog lights! I did find a couple of the marker lights burned out and replaced those, so that now all of the lights are working. Is it possible the footwell module had been replaced and improperly coded? Is there a way reflash it to tell it that the car doesn't have fog lights. Or, could there be something else going on?
