Question on aftermarket Android units

Little bit confused with the Aliexpress units, looking for some help. I have the NBT evo ID4 unit (non touch) right now, and I’m looking to either do the ID5/6 retrofit _or_ slap an Android unit on. On previous cars, I’d just put the Android unit on and it would take video signal from the NBT and let you have either Android or OEM interface - i.e. on the F85 X5M, it was smooth and perfect.

Is this how the Mini setup works? None of the vendors explicitly mention that you would get the OEM interface if you want it, so I’m a bit confused.
