Can I remove the stock radio w out freaking out the car? It doesn’t work and I don’t really need a radio. The door speakers are trash. I may install something in the future, but I rather stare at a block off plate that a non functional hunk of junk.

next question. My NAV screen is dead. Again. Don’t need it (I have Siri). I know I can’t remove the entire system but can I just remove the screen w out throwing the ECU into a tizzy?

Here is some information. Most people keep the stock headunit and stereo if they have factory Harman/Kardon like i do and just replace the speakers with new ones. The base system, i would upgrade.
