For a concourse A-1 condition professional car collector maintained, indoor-heated stored car that has probably never seen a drop of rain, proper paint care, and routine cleaning even when not needed, I don't think this price is far-fetched at all. Can't compare a gen1 with a gen 3 - completely different aesthetic, different market; and gen 1 cars are already collector classics. This may be the lowest mile R53 in existence - sure to be an interesting thread. I want to see pictures of the underside (but, I am not a potential buyer). I think the only way this car could be more valuable is if it was the first car imported into the US with those miles on it.
Definitely Bat worthy. But that’s a whole other thing. There was a similar low mile BRG (monochrome) from Canada for sale a few years back, it was a stunner, I think it sold privately mid to high 20s.
I bought my R53 from Peter Braun, who is pretty well known in the Austin Healey world. He specced it out while working at a MINI dealership in Connecticut and told me it was among the first, if not the first, to be ordered in the states. In any case, mine has a few more miles on it....like 50k more.

It is litterally brand new.
Proper pictures will follow as words cannot describe it.
Thank you for your input.
With BaT you only exchange with the buyer after the auction closing.
I am not dismissing the BaT option, but i thought it wouldn’t hurt (yes yes) to try it here first.
Cheers and thank you for your input.
Geez guys..... just because something once sells for a price doesn't automatically make everything else worth that price..
that's a brand new r53 jcw...
and btw , I seen gp's with over 50,000miles sell for over 20k.
you guys , honestly , just hassling the man about his prices.
he's offering some pretty rare , awesome condition stuff and if your a collector , youll pay to play... AND DONT FORGET HE SAYS " OR BEST OFFER " so unless your actually interested in buying it and shooting the man an offer , just keep your OPINIONS to your selves..
I bought my r53 aero for under 3k , so does that now mean ALL other r53 aeros value has plummeted ?
the market on nla parts and such is WHAT EVER YOUR WILLING TO PAY , so if you don't got the money and are as envious as I am of the man's awesome collection. Just move along...don't break the glass while window shopping..

Good luck with the sale, zigermanzz.
Unusually low-mileage G1 MINIs are getting harder and harder to find. Comparables that justify this asking price are easy to find. Here are few:

My own R53 undercarriage was nearly that clean - that is until driven through a heavy monsoon storm late last summer. Unlikely I'll use baby wipes but do plan to fully clean once temps warm a bit more for crawling beneath and getting wet. Also agreed on perceived value and asking price for such a car being in the eyes of beholder for anyone today preferring an as-new example. BTW, vehicles shown in pic #2 background are quite compelling. Curious what else unseen is in that "garage"?

Love that this car is local to me. Not sure if the price is CAD or US, but for a collector in the market for one this is a unicorn.
Nice stablemates pictured, it’s clearly in good company. May want to peel off the Mini Laval sticker! Or maybe offer it back to them it would go beautifully with the GP2 and classic green mini on their showroom floor.
Id love to own this but I’d drive it like it was stolen…
