Golf Clubs

Will I just got back from the Detroit Auto Show. But I forgot to take a tape measure with me to check the dim. inside to see if my clubs would fit. Everyone says they think so. But is there a Golfer out there that knows for sure. Can they fit in the back seat? Can they fit with one seat down? Or do you have to drop both seats? Can you fit two bags?

Stone Out!!!!!!!!!!! MCS on order

Definitely can fit with one seat down (with rear shelf on). I can also get two bags in with one seat down if stacked (with rear shelf removed). Haven't tried back seat.

I fit 3 other people and 2 bags before. One bag can fit so the bottom rests on the cup holder just behind the ebrake and point the top towards the rear hatch windshield. I had another in the middle of the front passsenger's legs, and then two other friends in back. Worked out just fine. No real complaints of being uncomfortable. There are other ways, you just gotta play around with it. They'll fit.
Cheers,

A big for the clubs!

As others have said they will fit no problem.

Now if you have one of those "toasters of a stick" 47 inch drivers or a belly putter you'll have to pull those.

I do a lot of golfing and motoring, so here's a tip:

Take your towel and wrap it around the hosel(s) - tight! That should keep the heads from clanking too much! I learned that one on a 500 mile trip to FL!

Hit the sticks earlier this week here in NC with the temps in the 30/40's, I play with forged irons so I'm used to a stinger every once in while, but not when it's cold

Love the FL thing! We're heading down later this month. Converging on the Folk's place for Baderpalooza III: my 4 Brothers and 5 days of golf, beer, cigars and pork! What a great time!

Yes you can stack the bags, no problem. But I'd drop both rear seat backs and go that route, it'll be much easier and less chance of things shifting. Use some care as the plastic seat backs can and will get marked up from the bottom of the bags.

I've played golf in both of your states always had a great time. I just got back from a trip to FL. in Dec. Well today in MI we have 15" of snow and 4 degress outside. I hit ***** today in the dome. Just not the same as a good round out on the links but that all we have up here in the winter.

I suggest seats down as well, have had four bags stacked...two and two. Pack em tight so nothing shifts.

Can also get two adult hockey bags in there side by side with sticks across the floor. In case there are any other hockey nutz out there

Next month I need to carry two sets of golf clubs, along with a few duffle bags, up the coast in my MCS Cabrio.
Can the Sport Link Bike Rack be modified to carry the Clubs? Any other suggestions?
