As stupid as I may sound -
I'm looking to purchase a 2007 Clubman "S".
Back in 2007, while at the Mini dealer having my 04 R53 serviced; I was scoping out the *new* ('07) Clubman S on the showroom floor. I remember it had a hood scoop like the R53. I assume it was supercharged.
Did the 2007 Clubman S come supercharged??? Or is my memory failed.? I cannot seem to find any info/conformation on this.
I'm still wanting an '07 regardless.

Now I just came across the 2007 "S" specs. As much to my disappointment - Apparently the 2007 Clubman S were turbo.
I had thought the '07 S models were a kin to the supercharged 1st gen R53 and turbos started in '08.

 

All Clubman R55 are second generation, so turbo engine. If you “really” want a Clubman, you want an LCI with N18 engine, preferably with a build date after 3/2012.

I'm now researching "how to identify an LCI"

 

LCI is more or less anything after 2011 in the US.
