AUX sending out any control / signals?

Hello all,
I own a 08 Clubman S with CCC Head Unit inkl USB and AUX port.
Currently I plan to use a Android Tablet as a Car PC (Sound over AUX port and Power over USB or 12V Port).

So far everything works fine except 2 things are missing.
A2DP sink (which is somehow not possible as an App for Android devices/tablets ??) and to control the Music using the CCC Radio / Steeringwheel.
Luckily the volume can be controled as usual, but I want to Pause, skip to the next track etc. using the Car controls.
So I want to know, does the AUX port send out any control signals? Can it be coded to do that or did they just put in a 2 or 3 Port/Signal AUX Connector into the car, so that nothing can be send out.

Alternatively I would use an Headset Adapter and conmect it to the AUX port, but I want to minimze the cable salat as much as possible.

Or does it make a difference, if I use the USB and AUX port from the Radio? Somehow we should have been able to control the Ipods in the past too or am I wrong?
