GP #1477 for sale on BAT

Been busy, so didn't see this until just now, but one day left, currently sitting at $16,575 with about $51k miles. @Oldboy Speedwell where do you think this will hammer at?

My wildass'd guess would be $23,575

In the peanut gallery ghpdx said he sold it in 2015 at under 11k miles at his dealership,
this must've been it then:

Neat to see the NAM post too,
must have been the 2nd owner?

Only one post though.

That owner bought in December of 2010 from a guy in Boston and at that time the GP only had 275 miles on it!

Was just thinking,
so to add...

...it has some strikes against it in BaTworld:

- what some would consider higher mileage
- what some would consider too many owners
- although honest, if it was detailed and cleaned it would have been more attractive
- low effort photography in combination with small pic gallery

The foot shot made me laugh a little...

...but the jacking technique made me cry a little!

Guess they don't have the GP-specific riser pads?

Also,
is this cat pee?

And,
now for something completely different.

Looking at this listing:

Watched the video which is quite fun indeed,
but also made me think of this meme...

I guess I find it so odd that people don't take the time to actually clean the car and make it look 100%. Like @Oldboy Speedwell mentioned above, why not clean the rims properly? And jacking the car like that is a big no-no. Currently looks like it is going to bring the money, these things are pretty rare and are a joy to drive!

Nice find on the for sale post, I wish I had money back in 2011 to buy one of these with such low miles! What a treat that would have been to drive 4k miles home!

Hindsight being 20/20, it seems your initial guess was a little low; I'm guessing high 20's for this?!

Haha, that foot was hilarious! I find the low quality photos the worst. The whole premise of BAT is to imagine the car as if it was in front of you; kicking the front tires to see if the LCA bushings are shot, pulling up the door seals to see if there's any rust, really feeling out the car to see how it's been taken care of. All the aspects of being in person that benefit you, as the buyer, when you're looking to purchase a car. I'd be scared to buy something like this without being there in person or getting a PPI.

I had a friend recently try and sell his 1986 BMW M6 on BAT, and while he took lots of photos, they all seemed low quality and I asked him why he didn't pay to have someone take pics, and he just replied that he had a camera on his phone and didn't want to spend the money. It seems in situations like this, you need to spend a little money to make some money. His car didn't sell; which seems to be a trend with more cars recently on these sites.

Completely agree. If I were to put up a car on BAT; I'd make sure every part of the car is clean, and well documented. I know my GP would be ripped to shreds due to the amount of miles it's got on it, but i do wonder how much it would fetch.

Market has definitely softened. This sold for $26,500, $4k less than it did on BAT back at the end of January of this year.
