Hey guys

Did a quick search on the forum and didn't find anything. I recently paid for a service over at https://bimmer-remote.com/products/m...play-mirroring to have my 17' F56 upgraded to ID6. Flash worked and have the new interface as well as Apple Carplay. The only thing I can't seem to get working at all are bluetooth apps. Now, you may be asking why I want them, I have an android phone and use the AAIdrive app. So the question is, is there something that needs to be coded to enable that feature or is this a limitation due to the older HU? I have a GP 3 with stock ID6 with the newer HU and bluetooth apps work without any issues, but on this flashed one it doesn't even show the option at all.

 

This is the most boneheaded software upgrade system ever created!! It's so damn counterintuitive to go throught the process. Why can't you just let the system in the car install it automatically? Whoever invented this should be fired immediately!!
