Hi all, my R55 S has auto rain sensing option with the lpurple ens and module installed but has never worked, since I purchased used.
I know the windshield was replaced and it seems never initialised so I went through the process with Rheingold (Ista P) and after reinitializing, the next step is relearning the adaptation where the instructions say turn off the rain sensing option and turn off car adn let it go to sleep and then put key into ignition position and after 10 seconds the RLS will readapt..
I've tried these steps about 10 times now and it never readapts and therefore I always have this error.
I swapped the black module that connects to the purple lens on windscreen and it SEEMED to show me different steps in Rheingold but then it too had the same result of never being reset, even after following the steps adn deleting the old error messages.
I've seen the instructions on videos and websites for the e90 to reset but somehow they are slightly different, and dont apply to Mini's
Anyone here have issues with reinitializing too?
