Just saw an article that said the average price for a new car is now $46,000 and the average price for a used car is $30,000, so maybe he actually wants $1,000 for it - must be the last one on the planet.

One may may have sold for an outrageous price but that doesn't justify that price..
Something is only worth what someone's willing to pay for it and with these being reproduced , I don't see how your gonna get anything close to 1k$. I feel like if you wanna sell it you will but your gonna have to be realistic about it.
unfortunately its out of stock for the r53's but they got the r56 ones available still and those are under 300$ shipped even..
