R57 2009 n14 s 110k automatic It runs hot enough to make the hood (by the scoop) too hot to touch for more than a few seconds. No codes. Runs fine. Also is smelling like gas when parked. What’s going on??
It is worse when the tank is full. Still no codes.

Just the symptoms you describe but there may well be other causes.
Does the exhaust manifold glow? - that's another symptom.
Some folks report that Cataclean may work (others don't!).

 

I’ve not noticed any glowing … but will try to look for it!
