CEL P12A5, Burger Stage 1 BETA (the original)

Whats up everyone,

I dug up my Burger B48 Stage 1 Beta for the F56. This was the predecessor to the JB4. I used it back in the early days but kept getting a P12A5 code that was resolved with me removing the piggy back from the car. I recently put it back on and was smooth sailing for 500 miles until I got the dreaded P12A5 code again. I want to fix this once and for all. I can upgrade to the JB4 for $150 but don’t want to spend the extra money right now. There was a firmware update that came out called B48_4.hex that supposedly fixed this issue:

I missed this firmware updated as I was checked out of messing with the tune anymore. Now i’m trying to finally give it a go before I junk the whole thing. Can anyone provide advice or experience in overcoming this code. This might also be a long shot but if anyone has a copy of the hex file, that would be incredible. I reached out to Terry who stated they don’t have the old firmware files. I would appreciate any advice or support.

Additionally, is there any harm in driving with the CEL code? Not sure if this is a false flag or a serious issue as the car has no performance deficits with the code. I don’t know enough about how this works to tell for myself. Thanks.

PS. If someone wants to buy it off of me and upgrade it to the JB4 to save some cash, I wouldn't object
