Description:

Hi guys, I'm unfortunately selling my 2006 Mini Cooper S JCW GP as I picked my bucket list car, the "Clown Shoe". I'm a BMW enthusiast and have been a longtime BMWCCA member (17 years). Always wanted a GP and it's been fun but need to make room for the Shoe.

Anyways, the GP has just under 41K miles. Miles will slightly go up as I drive the car occasionally.  It's #143 of 2000 world wide and 143 out of only 415 produced for NA market. Bought this GP from the original owner who took delivery at Pebble Beach, CA. Still has all the documentation from the delivery. Comes with stack of receipts from day 1 and all manuals/documentation, JCW Certificate and (4) window stickers. The car sits on 17" GP style wheels and MPSS.  Car will be sold with stock factory 18's.  Brand new battery and recent oil service. Clean Carfax/Autocheck.

1st gen GP's are getting harder to find especially unmolested examples like these and are going up in value.

Thanks for looking. DM for any questions or for any further info.

Great attention to detail and presentation... NICE RIDE!!

I hope someone buys this and puts another 41K on it ... thats what they are made for and glad to see that you got a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Looks like all it needs is gas and a driver !!

I would imagine that both sets of wheels are included in the sale?

.

WOW your car is amazing!

Where are the engine bay pictures? I may have missed them, but I did go through the google pictures several times.

Awesome car saw the initial ad on BMWCCA.org and was super interested. GLWS I would buy it if I didn't already have one.

Thanks man! Like you said, all it needs is gas and a driver.

Both the wheels come at the asking price.

I'm hoping it goes to an enthusiast. Want to give the community a chance first before taking the Auction route.

Thanks man!

Yeah, have to upload the engine bay pictures. Was having some trouble uploading them and I've been on the road.

The car looks fantastic!

Do you have a source for those 17" GP replicas?

Guys, this beauty is still available

A 51K mile, 7 owner car with paint/clear coat peeling on the front bumper sold for $30,500 ($32,000 with 5% fee) on BaT just today.

Come get this 2 owner, 41K mile, immaculate beauty with 2 sets of wheels for $33,500.

Very nice! Much better value than a Z3M in this inflated market right now, in my opinion.

What makes it 1 of 1 - interior color combined with the IR?

Enjoy!

I think so too and the hp delta between 3.0 and the S52 is 15 hp so it's not a huge difference unless you get the S54.

The Hellrot II/Extended Walnut leather and 5 spd makes it 1 of 1 in NA.

I joined the BMWCCA when I was 16 or 17 - I'm 52 now..... I remember when these were laughed at - you couldn't give them away! I always liked them - It was quite a departure for BMW and I always thought it worked!

Have you thought about listing on BAT if it doesn't sell here? Prices there overall are very strong, more so for GPs. Good luck!👍

The shoe has been a bucket list car for me and when this thing popped up locally, I couldn't resist. There is nothing like this on the road. I love the GP and I wish I could keep her but just have too many cars. Hope I can find a good home for her.

Been a longtime BMWCCA member myself (18 years) and when this came out, it was not for for everyone. People either loved or hated it. I always loved it. It's such an iconic and timeless design. Still looks beautiful after 25 years.

I have but I just want to see if anyone here is interested before I take that route. Like to see it go to an enthusiast.

Thanks

Put it in the ROUNDEL. It will list on the website long before the print version. You should get some serious interest there.

I drove a Z3 coupé when they first came out. Even with just the 2.8 engine, it was quite the little road rocket. Would love to have an opportunity now to have one in the garage.

I highly doubt it'll go for that asking price. I did receive a notification from cargurus that it's almost sold out.

Yeah, they are quick especially the 3.0 and very engaging and fun to drive.
