Has 05 MCS and was wanting to know if you all know where or even If we can intall the lower backup light that the earlier Models had. Can't believe they would take that away. Things like that is want makes a Mini, different.

 

Depending on where you are, I understand that there were issues with the placement being too low and that it didn't meet some standards/regulations. Someone more knowledgable can be more specific with those actual details.

I've attached an image that shows the old and new placement, You'll see the new has a red 'foglight' filling the spot now and that the side lights now have the white reverse lights. I actually like it better in the new iteration.
