Roof not opening fully

Hi 1st post here so appreciate any help
wife’s r52 roof has suddenly stopped opening fully
still opens 1st stage sunroof then nothing
no flashing red light no noise nothing
googled it to death have checked everything I can think of micro switches in trunk, fuses etc

i believe the 1st step after 2nd depress of open button should be windows opening which isn’t happening so maybe issue with roof control module (which I can’t find) help!

What happens if you manually open the windows and then try?

Another small item to check are the two switches in the boot. One under the driver's side foot of the shelf and the other on the upper left side of the frame closed by the boot door. That one has a very short throw. I've added a small chair leg pad to the door where it contacts the switch. Other than that, it could be in the drive system somewhere.

yeah been through all them they seem to be fine and there is no red flashing light to indicate an issue
im going to manually unlock and retract the roof then try to power close it

When you finally get it sorted, be sure to post the description of the failure and it's solution. That makes this thread a valuable resource for the next R52 enthusiast.

Fixed!
well for now anyway
i went through every suggestion on this forum and many others across the net still with no success
what fixed it was manually retracting the roof by following instructions and a youtube vid
after roof was folded I reconnected all motors switches pump etc back to standard then fingers crossed pressed the close button for roof
that worked fine so then with fingers and toes crossed I pressed open and it all worked as should and has done 10 times over since

so the classic take it apart, blow on it,put it back together worked
