Mini R56: "Mk II" Mini Hatch/Hardtop range 2008 - 2013
Description:

Camber plates and springs have only 10mi on then. Bought the camber plates and springs, had them installed and wasnt happy, so I went with coilovers. Shocks have around 70k on them.

So.... Looking at the springs, something didn't look right to me. Decided to look it up, and, yup, wrong springs. Not sure where you got those springs from, but they are not the NM springs for the R56.

The part number on the springs, 558860, is for the Countryman.

That's probably why your lowering went wrong.

These are the correct springs for the R56 (558856):

Probably no going back now, since you bought coil overs already. I might try going back where you bought the springs and get your money back.

Suspension

What’s exactly didn’t you like about the ride? Was it harsh or too bumpy? How much lower that stock is it?

Please read the whole thread. The springs were not the correct ones for the car, which is why they didn’t work.
