Hazy Xenon

Any one have this problem? It's not the fog (condensation) that many of you have, this is permanent. It seem to be the lens of the headlamp that have the hazyness. It is on the front right side. I got this since the delivery but I didn't worry about it then. I would like to know if it is possible for me to claim it on the warranty? This should not happen right, it is an expensive option?

Thanks in advance

YES-Definitely have your dealer replace!

If you had this problem when you got your MINI, then you have an iron-clad argument. I wouldn't think your technician would even raise an eyebrow at your request for replacement.

Go GO GO!

Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!

I too have noticed a slight haziness in the front passenger side Xenon headlight! I had Classic MINI check it out when I had my passenger HK door speaker replaced.

They of course said they didn't see it as they didn't want to have to warranty the headlight without noticing a definate haze. I insisted that the service writer document the fact that I notice it and if it gets worse, Classic will then reconsider.

I not glad that you are expericing too, but I'm glad that I'm not crazy and that you have confirmed that there may be a problem. Let me know what your dealer says. I'm actually visiting Classic tomorrow as I have to get my passenger side rearview mirror glass replaced as somone hit the mirror somehow and knocked it out of the frame.

I am also expericing my driver's side tail light fogging up after I washed the car. They are the MINI/BMW clear white tail lights considered to "factory" and will be fighting with Classic over this too I'm sure. I still love my car and will go through anything to make sure the car is right again.
