In my Mini F55 today I found while using my Carly that I could maybe turn on auto-updating of time. During the coding my center console showed a message that I would need to take my car to service for a console update. Ruh-ro. So, now, in set time (which is now set time and date) instead of just being able to set the time I had a checkbox for selecting auto-update time, selecting the time zone, the time, date, 12/hr 24/hr format (already set to 12), and the month formatting (already localized). Cool! But...The checkbox is disabled but looks live. So I set everything else, and the moment I would leave the screen it all blanked out. I can no longer set my time (or date, or anything.) When I restart the car it gives me an alert and tells me to set the date and time. Except the date and time don't save. So I tried to back out the changes.
Backing out the changes didn't change ANYTHING.
Resetting to before I made changes didn't change anything.
Resetting to a backup from a week ago didn't change anything at all.
Any ideas?
