Nothing connects to this electrical connector?

Hello all,
My 2011 Mini Cooper clubman S came back from the indi mechanic...he performed a bunch of repairs, thermostat housing, oil cooler gasket leak, High pressure fuel pump replace etc.

I notice that there is one connector which has nothing connected to it. Seems like it should be a coolant temperature sensor or something...I really do not know. I cannot find a matching electrical connector dangling around there.

disconnected electrical connector

Can you please check this photo and let me know if I need to do anything?

There was an update to the thermostat housing that used a special adapter pigtail on the thermostat housing. I just changed mine and used this pigtail. Mine had already been changed from the factory original one so I don't know exactly what the stock one looked like. That's most likely why you have that now unused plug.
