F/S 2002 PS/B Cooper S
F/S 2002 PS/B Cooper S
Sightly modified 2002 MINI Cooper S
Pure silver under black
Bought new in August of 2002 from Patrick MINI in Schaumburg. The only added option is a factory 6 CD changer - otherwise the car is a lightweight with no sunroof or any other heavy add-ons. 45K miles - mostly all highway.
The stuff I've added:
Aero grills
Autometer boost gauge
H&R Sport springs
Madness adjustable rear sway bar
Autopower 4-point roll bar with removeable cross bar and harness bar
BMP intake with Webb Motorsports air box modification
Magnaflow stainless cat-back exhaust
Alta 15% reduction pulley for the supercharger (adds 16 hp and 14 ft/lbs of torque) professionally installed by Randy Webb
Denso Iridium IK22 spark plugs
Fresh brake fluid flush
EBC Green Stuff brake pads
Schroth 4-point removeable harnesses (both driver and passenger sides).
I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting. I've done a few autocrosses and one track day with the car, but it has been taken care of religiously during the time I've had it. The car is available with the Pirelli 205/50-15 snow tires mounted on TSW EVO wheels on it (pictured) - or with the summer combo of custom painted gunmetal Kosei K1 racing wheels with nearly new 215/40-16 Toyo tires. I'm asking $18,500 O.B.O. Located in East Peoria, Illinois. PM me if you'd like any more details I haven't covered here.

Very nice Cooper S! You should be able to move it fairly quickly with your realistic asking price...if the mileage is reasonable. Remember, a prospective buyer can order a brand new 2005 base MCS for $20,449 including destination. You narrow your MCS purchasing pool by modifying the car and will need to find a buyer who wants this equipment. Have you considered re-installing all stock equipment and selling all of the aftermarket parts? You need to include the odometer mileage as this will be the #1 question from prospective buyers. Good luck with the sale!

lead on sale.......
there is a guy at work who was making some noise about looking for a used cooper S. send him the stats at goldmanm@ssginc.com and tell him Jock suggested it.
