I had AUX, now it's gone

I have a 2010 MINI cooper base that has factory installed AUX. Standard USB port next to a 3.5mm input hack. It's worked fine the year I've owned the car and I know the previous owner used it too. I've had a bluetooth adapter plugged into it since the day I bought it.

Today, the option to select AUX on the stereo disappeared. There were always four options: Tuner, CD, USB, AUX. Not it's just Tuner, CD, USB. The AUX option is gone. I tried a different BT Adapter that works fine in my other car, same issue. I tried a direct cable from my phone, direct from my computer. Still, no AUX option to select.

What would cause it to suddenly disappear like that? Has anyone else ever run into this?
