JCW GarageInterested in John Cooper Works (JCW) parts for your 2nd Generation MINI? This is where JCW upgrades and accessories for the MINI Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S (R56), and Cabrio (R57) MINIs are discussed.
I was so excited to see Recaros were an option for the minis. I had them in a 20th anniversary gti a few years back and they were by far my favorite seats out of all the vehicles I've owned. Good luck on your hunt
Ive seen a post on IG from a UK guy whos selling his Alcantara works recaros in pretty damn good price (1500pounds).
I would buy them but i have already order mine 2 months ago and waiting the ****ing Recaro:
I actually have a set of Recaro seats from a Gen 2 that I would be willing to let go. I bought them from AllMag several years ago; paid a premium price - but I actually found an R55 (not JCW) that had them and that is the car I am now building so I don't need them anymore. Dusty Recaros in front of my garage
not selling but here are some shots, the seats are one of the best mods I have done.
Damn these look good! is this OEM Mini seats or are they a different manufacturer like Recaro or Corbeau because I cant tell what model these are since they both sell so many different versions.
Those are the second gen OEM JCW seats made by Recaro. They are Sportser CS’s with airbags and were not available in the US. There were two versions, four of you count the JCW logo variations, all leather, or leather with dynamica (alcantara) inserts. The dynamica version had colored embroidered logos and the leather had debossed logos which can be seen in the pic above if you zoom into the top section of the seat backs.
They’re really rare, and even more rare with the original version of the JCW logo.
