Vorshlag camber plates

Well, I think my mechanic installed my camber plates wrong. I think they’re on the wrong side.

I have a 2005 MCS and I had him install Vorshlag adjustable camber plates, Koni yellows, Swift Spec-R springs, WMW RSB, front and back adjustable endlinks, and Powerflex trailing arm bushings. He asked me to take it elsewhere to set my alignment as I want it because he only promotes setting his customer’s suspensions to the factory alignment settings.

When I got the car home I opened up the hood to gawk at the camber plates. They’re very nice pieces. Correct me if I’m wrong but is the plate that says ‘Left’ on it supposed to be installed on the driver’s side? Because as it looks to me the plates are flip-flopped and any inward adjustment will introduce negative caster.

Can anyone verify this?

For sure they are installed wrong then.
The one labeled left should be on the driver side.

Left and Right are always determined as if you were sitting in the driver seat, NOT facing the car.

Yeah, a pain in the butt.
I have a different brand that are not marked, left-right. And wouldn't know it, I put one on, and as soon as I got up off the ground and looked down...damn, wrong side..! Was visually obvious.
Take it all apart again. Luckily, I only installed one side, before I realized what I had done.

Here’s a few pictures for reference. You can clearly see where it’s stamped. I’ll get it revised soon.

Driver’s side.
