2012 r55 Clubman body/suspension

Hello All! I am new to forums so please be gentle!! I have a 2012 Mini Cooper Clubman R55 base in pepper white that got into a fender bender. Long story short I am in need of a bumper cover (with all attachments fog lights etc.), passenger side fender, air bag for a 3 spoke steering wheel and entire passenger side suspension. I am having a hard time locating used clubman parts but regular mini parts are readily available. Are the parts the same? the bumper cover looks the same, suspension looks the same. Any thoughts?

Thank you

Peter

If I’m not mistaken, R55 and r56 are the same from the doors forward or to the b pillars.

Jason is correct....these parts from an R56 will fit directly on your Clubman.

Also, you may do better by purchasing a "shell" (body without a running engine) and transferring the parts to your car. You can occasionally find someone selling a shell on CL or FB Marketplace....our race team has bought them for $500 to $1500....much cheaper than going to a recycler for the individual parts. If you're in the New England area or Philly areas I can put you in contact with suppliers. PM me if so.

Try RealOEM.com. You can search by VIN and cross reference part numbers. Powerful tool.

For sure you can use the regular 2 door hatchback R56 parts as they will be the same. The only thing is for the rear spring you should reuse your clubman spring as it will likely be a different rate than the other.

Bumper, airbag question

Thank you all for replies, Wish I would have known about the compatibility with other models before I bought new a new bumper. I called multiple salvage yards and with shipping charges it wasn’t too much more to buy new from the dealer. The airbag went off, I bought a used one, do I need to replace anything else? clock spring, impact sensor? Do you need to “marry” the bag to the car?
