Dinan is in need of a couple different MINI's for either product testing on a few upcoming products. Both needs would be minimal in terms of time (2-3 days or less most likely) and you would get tested product for free in return for use of the car.

Project #1 - LCI Intake

1. Location: Opelika/Auburn, AL
2. Vehicle Needed:
   1. 2020+ MINI Cooper S/JCW
   2. 2020+ MINI Clubman S/JCW
   3. 2020+ MINI Countryman S/JCW
3. Scope: Need to test fit a revised intake with the updated MAF. Will require 2 visits a few weeks apart. Both short visits.

Project #2 - DINANTRONICS In-line Tuner.

1. Location: Sanford, FL
2. Vehicle Needed:
   1. 2020 MINI Clubman S
   2. 2020 MINI Countryman S
3. Scope: Emissions testing that will take a couple days. Requires the exact year / model requested.

I'd be all over this, mostly because I'm waiting on Project 1 so I can buy it for the wife's 2021 JCW.....sadly, we're 4K miles away in Hawaii :-(. Wife's an Auburn Veterinary alum too!

 

I've emailed them 3 times about this. but I have never heard anything back...not event a "we received your request" autoreply.

 

I only love a couple hours from thier shop, so emailed them a couple times back in October volunteering my car, but I never heard back. Yesterday I emailed them again from a different email address and found out that some how my emails from the first address got blocked. Now they are in the process of buying a shop car to do the testing on, and don't need a donor car. DAMNIT!!! I really wanted to be involved in that, but some IT firewall or something blocked me.

No, the email that was blocked was from my work, and they have their own email server. I think it might be the fact that there is a hyphen in the second part of the address. When I emailed them from my gmail account it worked fine.
