Bought this about 6 months ago to tune my R53. I recently sold my car and never ended up using this flash tool. Its in NEW condition. To get a RMW tune you just need to buy the tune itself from the website and use this tool to flash the ECU.

R50/R52/R53/R55/56 MINI flash tool to load ECU configurations.

I also currently have this flash tool listed on eBay under " MINI COOPER Flash Tool for 1st and 2nd Gen R53 R56 ".

 

So I buy the tune, tell Jan what upgrades I have essentially, and he puts the tune together, and I plug in and update my ECU with this device?
So premade plug and play, no on the fly modifying optional.

 

Yes that is correct. I believe it’s the best tuning option for this mini platform. Unfortunately I don’t think the ecu can handle on the fly tunes.
