R56 Upgrade to post LCI steering wheel?

Upgrade to post LCI steering wheel?
Has anyone tried upgrading your steering wheel from the silver pre-LCI (2007-2010) to the cool black post LCI wheel? If so did it work? How hard? What did you have to do other than replace the wheel and airbag?
