I'm BAAAAAAAaaaaaack! With "new" to me 2011 Clubman, finally back in the "club"!

Very happy to be back into a Mini, even though my last one was a lemony nightmare from City of Lemonsville... but I digress!
Picked up this 2011 Clubman fairly base model for a VERY low price, as it needs a new clutch. Everything else seems to work great, except for the mirrors. They rotate in and out, but they don't adjust. I checked all the fuses. My next step is to open up the panels and check for loose wires.
Parts have arrived, but sadly I don't arrive back at home until tomorrow night, and I'm anxious to get started on the clutch replacement! Even though my last Mini was a "lemony dud extremo", it DID give me an education on car mechanics. I pulled the head TWICE (got really good at that!) among fixing other things. I don't think the clutch replacement will be quite so bad on a non-turbo. Looks like there's a lot more room in there to move around and get to things. I didn't want another turbo, and now I have another car for when I want to drive fast!!
Anyway, I'm excited to be back after a long hiatus, and I'm open to any knowledge you smart mini owners might have about the mirrors, and recommended upgrades to the stereo that will do bluetooth and keep the steering wheel controls. The car is otherwise VERY clean, no smells, good leather, working lights, *****, and switches, and I have a feeling this is going to be my favorite Mini EVER! (first one was also an S model, but a 2003 with the supercharger, which was the first thing to go bad on THAT Mini.)
Cheers!!!
Simple, no sunroof, nothing fancy!
3rd door goodness!!
Always loved the Clubman's rear!
Interior in nice shape, but open to suggestions for stereo upgrades that will stream bluetooth music!
Picked it up down in Utah with my "fast" car.
for the Bluetooth I put one of these things in my clubman until I figure out about putting an in-dash unit.
It works reasonably well with my iPhone. kinda bugs me that I have those wires hanging out but for a temporary solution its working

My '11 has NO bluetooth, and NO USB. my 2009 did. very frustrating.
Mine has a USB in the space under the switch panels, the 1/8 mini jack is right next to it. They're just under the passenger side window switch. Are you sure yours doesn't have one? It looks like you have the same radio
The USB/mini/Bluetooth thing I got is called a Tune2Air (why the link didn't work when I put it in above I don't know) that I got from Amazon. It tells the car that it's an iPod and uses the iPod interface in the car. (buttons on the steering wheel, song name in the display, etc)
Edit: Just looked at your photos again. Mine's an S Clubman 2011 so that may have made the difference. Although it appears that your radio is the same from what I can tell.

with your tune2air, can you just plug it into the AUX port and answer and do voice calls through the car?
I don't think so. It presents itself to the radio as an "iPod" so I'm pretty sure that the radio needs to do some handshake with it. Plus since my car has bluetooth for the phone I have that set up there and only play music through the Tune2Air.
you might be able to read more about it on their website. Perhaps they have one that only uses the AUX?
