So.....wife got her 2021 JCW Vert today, car is amazing. Problem though, even pumped all the way up with the top down she can't see over the folded top in the rear. Anyone know any way to raise the seat up higher? I know back the old days my dad used to put 4x4s under my mom's corvette seat, LOL. That's not safe, but curious. She can see fine with the top up, it's just when it's down.
OR ... looking at this picture of the front seat mount note that the entire assembly is held down with a bolt at each end of the two side slide rails. You COULD put spacers under the rails and use longer bolts to reattach the rails to the car .... not sure how INSURANCE would feel about that if injury should result from an accident but you COULD do it easy enuf ....
I'd put something the length of the slide bar to prevent it's bending in the middle should you only put spacers at the bolts ....
Liquid, is your wife super short? I'm only 5'8" and have the seat all the way down and can see behind the car. Like all convertibles that stack the top at the back of the car (few and far between these days), rearward visibility is compromised with the top down, but I can definitely see cars behind me and such.

Not really, she's 5'2'' but as the seat only seems to raise about an inch, lol, that still is 5 inches lower :-(
