The OE JCWGP front bumper on my car was melted in a fire (previous owner) and I had this one installed.
Any idea if I can use the two small round holes for additional cooling by adding some ducting and directing it to...lets say, the power steering pump?
They are kind of hard to see in this image so I circled them in yellow.
Will this take away airflow from something else that is benefitting from these openings already (like the brakes?).
Typically those two holes in the front bumper have foglights in them. If yours are open, then yes you can use the air coming thru. Most people use the holes for brake ducts.
There are kits and DIY options.
I used mine for brake ducts as my car didn't come with fog ligths.
I have the Sneed Speed brackets at the rotors and I believe the ones in the bumper were random ones from ebay. Ducts running between both, but I not only have doubts of their efficiency due to the bends, but I'm not really a fan of the routing on the engine side.
You can see, sort of, where the ducts are coming out at the rotor toward the back. Kinda a long wiggly route for the air...
I plan on going more toward the Lexus approach with short ducts pointing toward the inside of the wheels
