Remanufactured parts under warranty??
Just had my CVT replaced under warranty (1 year old) and they replaced it with a remanufactured one. Is this normal??
Most other cars that I had got new parts under warranty.

Probably depends on the part, but I can see where a supercharger or CVT could be a remanufactured unit.
Remanufactured is not necessarily a bad thing.
It's still under warranty, and many times, if the parts internals are updated based on a new design to solve prior issues, the remanufactured units receive the updated internals.
And besides, your part that failed was a new unit.
Many folks equate remanufactured to "used", but there is a difference.

I agree. For example, the problem could have been as simple as
$0.50 seals breaking or something on a $1K part... put in new,
revised seals and it's marked " remanufacturered." so, I
wouldn't worry about it.
New = could be one round of QC on the assembly
Remanufactured = more like 2 rounds+ more of QC on the assembly.
Sometimes remanufactured turn out with better tolerance to
spec than the original.
