Hi All. Didn’t get any hits searching. 2005 R50 Base Manual. Clutch, front end bushing/ball joint, and engine/transmission Mount rebuild. I have 4 13mm socket bolts left over that had red thread lock on them. I can’t for the life of me figure out where they go. Should have bagged and tagged but didn’t. Doesn’t seem to effect drive ability although now I have a sort of a grinding sound On the left when in the gas and a shimmy on the right. Off the gas it is smooth and quiet. Thanks in advance!

 

For the 4 x 13mm bolts, triple check to see if these are for the outer ball joints.(left and right). I don't recall using threadlocker on those bolts??? Sure would hate to see your outer control arms go falling out of the spindles!

 

Ball joints typically come with new bolts so perhaps that explains why you have some left over?

 

Hopefully the outers came with The bolts. They are in and that would make sense. A buddy removed the old ones around where the bolts were found. I had fixed the bad shimmy with struts but now a light shimmy is back. Right axel only has 17k miles on it and it was new but replaced before me. (Have the invoice) Thinking about replacing again?
