I just bought my first mini. It's an 08 R52 JCW. My question is has anyone ever seen these illuminated door sills. I know there are aftermarket ones but these appear to be factory. Just curious because I have never seen them shown or listed before. I also may need to change my passenger side side skirt and hope they dont get damaged like the normal thin stainless cover that just sticks on. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The illuminated sills were a dealer installed option in 2005. They were also available as a DIY kit, and I've only seen the lighted JCW one.
