Has anyone ever converted a N18 from turbo charged to supercharged? I always wanted to do something different and this thought crossed my mind.

 

Not a lot of room in the engine bay to add the drive belts.... sounds like a ton of work, but an interesting endeavor

 

I would love to do this conversion! Imagine hearing that supercharger wine and having lots of low end torque putting power to the 4 wheels

 

Buy an R53 instead?

You could give twincharging a try,
that would truly be extraordinary!

The most famous twincharged car is the Lancia S4,
a beautiful beast:


There have been quite a few twincharged R53's over the years and people are still doing it today,
this was downloaded just last week:


R56 would be much more difficult though I think.

If there was an off-the-shelf supercharger kit for Peugeot or Citroen it might be easier

 

Thanks so much for sharing! this is awesome. I saw a video once of Jay Leno driving a R53 with two engines! It was real cool. I love to see different things and mad projects working well. I would sell an organ to get a drive in a Lancia like that one
