Labor cost estimate

Hi all. I was hoping to get a sense for labor cost or labor hours estimate required to install on my 2012 R56S:

-Downpipe
-Intercooler

I'm in the Bay Area so feel free to add $ premium

thanks.

If you have a jack and jack stands you can do the intercooler in an hour with basic hand tools.

don't have jacks unfortunately and busy right now. My shop is good but I'm sensing they are going to charge like 750 altogether.

it makes it easier to get to the band clamps on the intercooler, but you could do it without it being on jack or ramps. I did my turbo muffler delete without it being jacked up.

My guess is 4-6 hours of labor at whatever rate the shop charges

Always best to supply the accompanied directions to the tech / service advisor first for estimate....If they are not used to dealing with a particular manufacturer, or have not modded a MINI before in such fashion, its harder to estimate the labor costs. Maybe send a pdf file of the install directions from manufacturers web site via email ?
