R53 GP Replica Side Skirts

Orranje recently dropped their version of GP side skirts and they look very damn good to my eye.

How or what did they do for front GP bumper, specifically by area side marker to make it match the areas they blackend in ? Or does this model have a standard R53 front bumper retaining the textured black trim ?

I think this particular car uses their R56 JCW style front bumper...

...one thing I like is how they designed the side skirts to "fill in" the void on the factory GP part where the black arches don't extend all the way:

In the description, they wrote:
"The Orranje GP Style Side Skirts are styled on the side skirts found on the MINI JCW GP, but feature arches that match the front and rear arches on the MINI - something the GP skirts always looked odd without!"

The diffuser is made by LEAP - same people who make the big scoops...

Sadly no US distro for Orranje that I'm aware of --- that would be wonderful if they did!
I've dealt with them directly and they're great with good communication.

The diffuser from the pics above is a R56 MINI Challenge diffuser. The GP2 diffuser which looks similar can be installed on a 1st gen with modifications and the right exhaust. IMO, fitment also looks a little a better when the regular S bumper trim is used with the diffuser and not the GP1 trim in the pic which flares out at the bottom.
Its even easier and cheaper to just install the rear bumper section of the GP2 diffuser without the rest of the tunnels which require bracket modifications and cutting to clear the control arms. When I last checked the complete GP2 diffuser, brackets, and hardware was around $550 and the rear section alone was around $350.

LEAP.Works is HQ in Mexico and does sell direct to keep it from going over the pond and back. Louis (the owner) is a great guy. I have their Omicron CF scoop and like it a LOT. Tell him I sent you.

Super glad he's making stuff like this available.
An Omicron scoop is on my wish list.
I'll just get the fiberglass version though

I think rkde was one of the founders of Orange and made the GP style side skirt bucks and molds, and most, if not all of the of the custom body parts and interior panels, including the G Wing and the GP interior panels.

Yep,
and I think Richard also may have done a custom install on the skirts by shaving the top fasteners or something...
...and he runs gel sill covers.
The only other pic I've seen showing the top is also from a magazine,
and here you can just see the mounting points topside:
But there may be different methods for fastening them?
I'm just not sure.
I really really like the way they look, but decided not to get a set just because I think they'd giving me hassle for jacking due to ultra-lowness and my car spends a considerable amount of time on jackstands LOL so for me it is mostly an issue of practicality.
Another one featured in a magazine, this one shot gives a good idea of how close to the ground they are.
