what to do?

I have a r53 with 240k on it. I have done the following, a 17%/15% pully, obx header, new alt, new full pump, serviced the supercharger, ddmworks cold air intake, oil catch can, msd coil and hot plugs, Detroit tuned valve stiffer spring, slotted rotors and anion radiator tank. I have obd11 with torque app and a mpps v16 ( for loading maps on). I have replace the oil seal, oil pan seal, the temp seal in front that leaks.

Now for the question. I have a main bearing seal that leaks and the timing chain seal that leak. I have been quoted 1500 to do the seals and put the Valeo clutch in. I am also getting several codes (p0130.p0300.p0303.p0313.p1498.p1612.p2096.p2300.p 2303 and finally p0136). So with that said I am wondering should I get the oil leaks and try to trouble shoot the codes..or run it till it blows and put a jcw engine in it and put parts bought in it.? Second question would I need to do anything to the computer if I swap engines?

I know this was a lot. I love this car and plan in (slowly) turning it into a track car. ANY help would be appreciated.

I would research the codes and install the clutch. I did the rear main seal and clutch job last year with the help of Modmini's 2 videos. Absolutely doable in a weekend with a friend or two.

Took it to my mechanic he called and said man before go forward you have a lot of metal in the oil..it is only a matter of time..SOOOOOO back to the original question "anybody do a engine swap in a mini cooper s 2005?" would there be an issue putting a JCW 05 engine in it? Maps or computer issues? Thanks in advanced.

There's a series on Mod MINI's YooToob channel where he swaps out the grenaded motor on his 2004 S. Might not speak to your JCW question but it gives a good overall view of the wrenching involved.

Mod MINI engine swap series

yeah that guy is great..he has got me though many fixer ups on this car...but I don't think he talks about swapping a r53 to a jcw engine.
