New 2020 JCW Clubman

Traded in the 2014 JCW Coupe on Friday at Mini of Tempe for this bad boy. Very different car. Just as fast accelerating (if not faster). Quieter cockpit. Less bumpy ride even in Sport mode. Way more oversteer (Coupe had Sport suspension, Clubman has DDC). I realize that the JCW Coupe was as close to being a track car as any Mini (except maybe the GP) and this is more of a Mini station wagon but so far I really like it a lot. The brakes are scary. The transmission is so much less intrusive than the Coupe. Can hardly tell when it shifts it just takes off. HK sound system is great, better than the one in the Coupe. Seats about the same (had the rare Recaros before). This is definitely a step up and the cars were almost the same price ($40k). I got more taken off MRSP on this one. I figured that this was the last of the "hot" Mini cars now that they're going electric in the future so better get my last one now. It was hard to find a JCW Clubman fortunately I loved the color.

Questions: there are two exhaust pipes that come out of the muffler. Looks like the left one is fake (it's blocked off). Does that make sense? Can I change the rear ASB if I have the DDC?

The one on the left has a flap that opens in sport mode

It's valved, just put it in Sport mode to open it. If you install the JCW Pro, then it's manually controlled by the bluetooth controller.
