Help with this R52

Hi all,

I've been forever searching for a good R52 Sidewalk JCW. This popped up recently, wondering if anyone knows the car:

http://coastmotorco.com/inventory/38...08-Mini-Cooper

The photos don't reveal much detail and the rear JCW badge looks crooked. Also, I was under the impression that all 08' Sidewalk JCW cars were 'Last of the Supercharged' editions. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. If there is anyone looking to sell, I'm ready to buy.

Thanks!

www.mdecoder.com indicates that this is a JCW sidewalk

It may just be the picture angle that makes the badge look crooked. The rest of the car looks correct. Would like to see under the hood though.

If you let that get away, you'll regret it like I regret letting my '63 E type roadster get away from me 50 years ago.

I don't think I'd regret it quite that much, ouch! However it has proven almost impossible over 2 years of looking to find an ultra clean, low mile R52 Sidewalk JCW. They seem even more rare than the GP1.

Thank you, I've reached out to the dealer. I have a spot reserved right beside my rare but not-as-rare R53 JCW checkmate.

Unfortunately when I spoke to the dealer, they let me know that it had actually been sold for a while.

Still on the hunt. If anyone has an 08' Sidewalk JCW (LOTS), willing to pay top dollar.

Well, razzlefratz! I regret you're not being able to acquire that MINI. Good luck with your search.

You just missed a very clean LOSC Edition at MINI of Alexandria.

Here is a nice Sidewalk R52 S with an aero kit for sale with only 15K miles:

Yes that's the garage, huge renovation underway- I will be refinishing the floor space (bar, fireplace, etc) and adding a second floor for more cars (there are a few stablemates missing from that shot)! But despite the available floor space the LOTS hasn't been in the cards.

Beautiful car! However definitely needs to be a factory JCW. I'm sure it will come up when I least expect it.

This is the one I saw but the mileage is probably way to high for you.

I saw that one, I’m definitely looking for clean/low miles if they are out there.

I think in 08 there were only like 100 made so its definitely not going to be an easy find. You better hope your at the right place at the right time. I'll make sure I keep an eye out for you. I had a hard enough time just finding a decent R52 JCW let alone a sidewalk edition. Truthfully something about the color interior on the sidewalk I dont like. I think I like the interior on the one I found better.
