Ok, I know this is not quite news worthy, but I was pretty excited so I figured I would pass this on. Today Cordelia (my MINI) became a Hoosier. Even though I have been here now for 2 months, and been driving like one the entire time, I just never ponied up to paying the fee for the plate transfer.

So no more Washington MINI, she now has her Indiana wings .

 

I saw a DS drive right past me on New York today.... wasn't you, was it?

 

We are gonna be sporting a new plate in April. It will read "TENCAN". Guess we will have to get a "MINI" plate holder for it .

Hmm, I don't think so. I was up on 30th today, but I don't remember being downtown. Could have been my shadow. Was I driving poorly?

 

Very good idea. I have seen some plane chrome frames that say just MINI at the top with the wing logo. What kind of plates do they use for vanity's? Just the plain Indy with the wheat, or something different?

 

It's just the plain regular IN plate. Miniwildcat has a Rose Hulman plate that is personalized. Should have done something like that, the pea colored green just doesn't match my IB.

 

My RH plate matches Homer quite nicely as you can see. We should feel lucky that we can get personalized plates so cheap.

 

I jus thave this overwhelming need to wave at MINI's... but I feel like a psycho of I do it while I'm walking down the street instead of in my own MINI.

I wanted to wave at the pretty little DS but didn't want to seem all stalker.

 

I figure that after all my waiting, when I get my plate it'll be something like "FNLYMYN" (Finally Mine)

 

Hey, there is no stalking when it comes to the MINI. I wave, honk, and flash regardless of what I am driving. So when I see people waving, I just wave back.

I actually got a flash from a I think a PW on Saturday while I was going north on 31.
